I bought this to replace my Firestorm 18 volt combo kit, and for obvious reasons there's no comparison. The DeWalt has muscle, batteries outlast the owner, and driving capabilities are unmatched. With my combo kit I also received a 18 volt saw, again, no comparisons to the old Firestorm.
