It is easy to carry around, and has two safety air cooling system to prevent over heating. It is so powerful and durable. I would not ask for anything else, but this. I received mine and there wasn't a scratch or any problem. After adding the oil and running the break-in time, my compressor works great. Maintains a nice pressure cuts in and out at a normal rate. Noise isn't unbearable. It does make noise but they all do. I was able to have fairly normal conversation while it was running. We had two roofing nailers going along with a 3" nail gun (for the sheathing) (obviously we split one of the lines to feed two guns). This compressor had no problem keeping up. The cycle time of this compressor is great. I'm still stuck on the oiled compressor theory, which this has. It kept up with him at all times using 200 feet of hose, with some leaky connectors. He never had to wait for air. The unit runs quietly. This compressor is solidly built and relatively quiet. It's much, much quieter than the pancake. There's a lot of steel and almost no plastic on this product -- that's rare these days. It's heavy -- you definitely wouldn't want to carry this around on a daily basis. I've had it for a couple of weeks and it has been great -- no problem with a framing nailer.
