It has a nice slick look, which will hopefully last much longer than our previous antique brass which tarnished in a few years. So far, it is working fine. I use it in the dusk to dawn mode, and really appreciate the test setting which allows me to verify my installation is correct and that new bulbs are working the one time I needed to replace one carried over from the old fixture.
