I got 2 for me and then when I saw how well they worked and how nice they look, I ordered some for gifts. As far as what some people mentioned about the color of the "flame," I believe the warm tone is more realistic looking than if the light were to be white. It's supposed to have an orange look if it's supposed to be a candle flame because it's supposed to look like fire and not a light bulb. I think they are perfect. It is great that they come on at dusk and off at dawn. I get about 2 months running on the 2 C batteries (non-alk). The person who said she got them at Target and they are dim is mistaken. These are not the same ones. I too saw the Target ones and they look like this but are junk. These have a 2 year warranty...what has that these days? My LCD HDTV only has 1 year parts and 90 days labor, it cost a lot more ...more

I love the light sensor that automatically turns them on at dusk and off at daylight -- not having to plug/unplug or screw/unscrew the bulb on each candle twice a day is great. One the negative side: They're not very bright, and I'd prefer white light to reddish yellow. But on balance, I'm glad I have 'em, and will look forward to breaking them out again next year. ...more
